Does the State Have Unclaimed Money of Yours?

Have you checked the New York State Controllers Office to see if you or a Family Member should receive unclaimed money?

Comptroller McCall is custodian of abandoned property in New York State. Currently, the Comptroller is safeguarding more than $4 billion which they would like to return to the proper owners.

All you need to do is put in your last name and city and follow the instructions if your name or a family members name appears.

For me, this turned out to be hours of fun.

The website address is for New York's Unclaimed Funds is http://nysosc3.osc.state.ny.us/cgi-bin/db2www/ouffrm.d2w/input
